Theatre fun!

Many of you know that my other job is as a theatrical lighting designer, and that is how I know this sweet mama. She was a student in the first show I designed over at Lipscomb University and I instantly loved her. She and her sweet husband are amazingly talented and the kindest people ever. I am so excited that they are having a baby!

Theatre people are loads of fun and she is no exception. We laughed the whole time! Won't this baby have a joyous life!

Normally I bring an assistant along to help wrangle fabric, but this day my helpers had all been exposed to the flu, so we banished them. So my mama did the fabric tossing herself. I think she did an excellent job!

I'm so in love with these tossing silks. They drape beautifully on everyone and take the light magnificently well. We have a half dozen colors and keep adding new ones. They are so gorgeous!
